What We Do

People with arms linked

The Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking - Texas partners with other organizations and individuals to fight for human dignity along the US-Mexico border and all across the state of Texas. We work passionately to bring awareness, education, training, and victim services to help combat both labor and sex trafficking.

Awareness, Education, and Training

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery. It involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain labor services or commercial sex acts against a person’s will. It is a reality, not only in Texas and along the US-Mexico border, but across the nation. Awareness and education are vital to bringing an end to human trafficking. CCHT-Texas facilitates training and awareness events and provides information, support, and resources to concerned citizens, law enforcement, social service organizations, businesses, government organizations, churches, medical professionals, schools, and individuals. If you are interested in having CCHT-Texas conduct an awareness or training event in your community, organization, or workplace, please contact us.

Victim Assistance

The Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking - Texas coordinates and collaborates with partner organizations across the state of Texas to help provide assistance for victims. This assistance may be in the form of gift cards, clothing, furniture, medical/dental services, counseling, educational assistance, transportation services and other care as determined on an as-needed basis. CCHT-Texas also assists with the coordination of services in order to provide a safe place or shelter for those in immediate need. Be sure and sign up for our newsletter to be kept apprised of current needs.
