The Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking in Texas was born from a small group of thoughtful, committed individuals who gathered in Laredo, Texas, in November of 2015. Their lives were forever changed after hearing first-hand accounts from victims of human trafficking, and a passion to learn more and serve victims was born in their hearts. The group made a unanimous commitment to form a coalition to bring awareness to others and help end modern-day slavery in Texas.
CCHT-Texas exists to provide awareness, education and victim services through collaboration with individuals and organizations to break the chains of labor and sex trafficking.
A world where individuals and organizations are equipped to prevent human trafficking and identify and help victims.
The Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking in Texas is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization, recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service.
