While attending the Rio Grande Valley Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force meeting in San Benito, we heard from Octavio Saenz with TxDot, as he shared about their new "On the Road to End Human Trafficking" Initiative.

To raise awareness among employees, industry partners and the public, TxDot is providing the following materials:

  • Information cards with human trafficking information and red flags to be in all TxDOT vehicles
  • Restroom stall signs for  Rest Areas and Travel Information Centers throughout the State of Texas

These materials raise public awareness and provide victims of human trafficking with critical information on how to reach out for help.

CCHT joined with members from Juvenile Probation, DPS, Refugee Services of Texas, BCFS, Buffett-McCain, Common Thread, and others to hear about these efforts and are excited about their potential impact on trafficking in the State of Texas.
